Hi all,

I'm looking at purchasing a chassis kit which was designed to fit an EK. I assume that the floorpan was the same from FE - EK, is this correct? In saying this, are there any reasons why this chassis kit wouldn't fit my FC?

Kind regards,

Ol Girl,

It should fit, generally the only thing stopping a perfect fit will be the condition of the underfloor cross member and whether it has had prior repairs or not.

Cheers

Yeah Pete,

I've got a Waddington's tunnel for my Supra 'box. Saves me mucking around.

also the body crossmember is wider in an EK auto, but i'm pretty sure the chassis kits are only made to suit the man bodies

Ratbox,

The chassis kit is made by Justin (kiid61) on the FB-EK forum, who's building the big wheeled FB/EK.

I'm sure that even if the kit was too wide, it could be made to fit.

Cheers,

Josh
