Hi all, just joined today, so please excuse anything I get wrong...(ie. in the wrong forum..)
some history on my projects...
I have 2 FC , 1 "as is" original and rusting away and one I found on it's way to the dump in parts...
this is the one I am rebuilding. as I got almost everything except a motor but including a HR disc crossmember, I have started rebuilding and putting a V6 from a VR into her.....all going along not so bad at this stage...to be continued (will post some pics etc later)
anyway my question...?? are the metal channels that cup the bottom of each door glass and the rubber it [glass] sits in availible new or after market?
I'm in Brisbane QLD....
would love to hear from anyone nation wide....

G'day Buzz.......
I just asked the same question under "parts wanted" and got some good advice, tips etc. Bottom line is there is no repro lift channels available, but have a look at the thread there and you may get some ideas. I managed to purchase some rear channels through the forum, but don't know if anyone else has any spares. Seems the fronts are a bit rarer than the rears, presumably because they rust quicker. If you manage to come up with some sort of replacement, the advice is to silicone the window into the channel and forego the rubber.
Good luck with your search.
Cheers, Ian.

No, sorry mate. I managed to get hold of a full set, but don't know of any more available. Maybe post a fresh wanted here again?
Cheers, Ian.

Guys, I've got 3 stainless steel welders working for me and I`m in pretty tight with a folder/fabricator that can fold these up for me. Im getting a set made soon and if they are a success, would anyone be interested in a set?
