Hi all,
I had some Austin A40 bucket seats ready to go into my FC, but they just don't look right. As such, I am on the search for another pair of low back bucket seats.
I am keen on bucket seats from an EH, HR, Volkswagen Beetle, Isuzu Bellet, or XM-P Falcon (coupe or sedan).
I am located in Hobart, but freight isn't a problem.
Kind regards,
Josh,

Early Commodore Seats with headrests removed might be OK. In saying that I have a pair of HZ buckets lined up for my wagon, easy enough to chop the in-built headrest down as they are just a piece of molded flat steel welded to the frame. Then it's just a mater of a cut 'n' shut on the foam then trim

Thanks for the info, Stinky.
re: Commodore seats - I want to steer clear of plastic bits on my seats (like seat adjustment knobs). They're pretty square seats, too.
Do you have any suggestions for other seats that may be suitable?
Cheers,

LC/LJ Torana or HKTG buckets. I think the Torana ones might be better size wise.

Spotted this option in the December Issue of Cruzin. Looked pretty good so I found a pair at a British car wreckers. They are out of a 2 door late seventies Land Rover. They are all steel. I like the look of the bar to move the seat, again all steel. As was pointed out in my post you will need more structure to support the inbuilt seat belt, however it means you do not have to mount bolts into the pillar. Anyway another option.

Shhh! If the Corvette Brigade find out what you're going to do with them, they'll send a lynch mob after you
