I used a 6 inch grinder with a thin cutting wheel onthe curve I have the blade just cutting through the material and go slow so I can get around the bend ,a smaller grinder would be better or just square it off

earlier in the thread you were after demister hose? I stumbled across minisport.. apparently minis use 32mm hose. So for std demisters you can use mini hose... not sure about the available lengths but it's a start. http://www.minisport.com.au/prod1274.htmCheers Ed |

Made up some brake lines for the old girl  doing a set for my mates FC while im at it   Off to Gunnadah tomorrow to help my mate put his FC back together it now has paint so ill take some pics |

Just got back from Gunnedah ,Here's a couple of pics of my mates FC we got some chrome on and sorted outher bits and pieces ,its starting to look the part also checked out that clearance sale ,the guy wont sell a thing till the sale ,lots of good restor able cars in various states of repair to pic from ,Lots off parts I wont be able to get there next weekend bugger   Pic of the sale every thing is mostly lined up in corresponding years  |

Him guys I borrowed the tool of a mate but i will find out were he bought it ,It is a double flaring tool and the tube was purchased from Brake piont in Coffs harbour ,The tube is 3/16" which is i thing pretty much standard but i also use the 1/4" because thats wat is used in the FE FCs.Here are some pics to help you out   |

Maco... you can get a double flaring tool, benders on ebay.com.au and either steel , alloy tube or even copper if your state alloys ( in rolls ) on ebay.com from the USA, the tube is very cheap, i'm going to get some myself ...if you look on ebay.com.au you can get a complete set of multi-size benders and double flaring tool in 1 sale just type in double flaring tool and the list goes on...enjoy your choices hehehe  i have a single flaring tool but might need to purchase the same set as i mentioned happy flaring and bending...but remember the golden rule " measure twice, cut once saves a lot of mistakes " Have a gr8 Holden ( FE ) Day !! |
