In my opinion, for what it is worth, this bloke is just trying to swindle top dollar, An experimental shell, he says, it has obviously had a body plate fitted to it above the heater holes. It has had welding repairs done on the firewall. The gearbox access cover has a fair bit of dirt on it, consistent with a fair bit of use....

It seeems too suss for me....

The background and the storage racking system seem familiar but I just can't place it... Huh

It looks familiar to me - a guy in our club had a new shell that I saw about 12 years ago. It had been messed with a bit as the previous owner was going to put a V8 in it and had cut the firewall up a bit. The car had NOS rails with separate skirts and was pretty rough looking in the body. This could be the same car as I believe the guy in our club did sell it on after I saw it.
Since this is in Victoria, I believe it could be the same vehicle but I would have to see it to verify it.
