I was trawling another site when I came across some pics taken at Fast Lane Speed Shop during their open day.
Spotted this under construction FE/FC with some amazing work.

This ute in the carpark also looks clean.

Regards

That looks like the black FC from the Mt Gambier nationals with the flip boot lid, suicide rear doors, full chassis sitting up the front of Frew park. It was the rims that first grabbed me. came from Geelong from memory.
cheers

Would love to know what he has done to that ute... Looks like the idea that I had for wiper washers has been done already...

Awesome clean looking vehicle!

im guessing at 4 inches higher the pinion angle is good and that strange angle of the tunnel just lets the car lay sill...

looks pretty cool... needs a chop.

I agree ED, it needs a chop, but may need a raised roof to see over the big blower ha ha! or a chop with sunroof...hmmm

You know that's so true, my experience was only FC ( at the age of 3yrs old untill of late ) they look so munchie, tuff, bling of chrome,,very 57 chev look which i still really dig ( I guess now i look back and have to say..very USA.. which each to their own, but ive been well and truly ova USA for a long time in most things )... but now i have my FE, i've seen more of a classic Australian part of car history...sleek lines Min is Max and now has a bigger impact on me
where concentrate on the lines and not be blind sided by too much chrome... sorry my FC Mates, i still adore the FC, but more effection for the classic sleekness a FE has...which is a big statement for me, as it's Been FC all the way for me... maybe im getn old or taken a step back

very ol' skool  very Kool  very sweet is "The FE "

No I understand what your saying. I first liked the FC for years but then i started to think, done right and not over done like this ute, keep it simple with the fe and you have a great car. but some colour combos make the fc cool too. i actually thought the fc looked more american and the fe slightly more british looking. now that i have both, i suppose when they are finished I wont feel like i am compromising, but now it makes the budget have to spread wider.

I keep coming back to check this FE Ute out, it's so sweet

You just can't get that from a modern car no matter how hard you look...... chrome is hard to find these days in a modern car and at best its plastic.... new cars are nice...but totally different

what a loverly Ute, is the owner a forum member ??
