Hi has anyone go any advice on getting the large Phillips head screws that hold the doors on off,have tried impact wrench but wont budge,WD40 etc

Try using an oxy torch on the head of the screw then put an old phillips head screwdriver in the head of the screw and hit it a few times with a heavy headed hammer then try the screw with a good tight fitting screwdriver. Then if you cant move them and you wreck the phillips head part then the only answer is to drill them out.

When you say that you are using an impacty wrench do you mean a rattle gun or impact driver. If you are using a rattle gun, it wont work. You will need an impact driver.

My first thoughts if you are using an impact driver, is that you are not hitting it hard enough! If this still does not work then you may have to apply some heat from an oxy acetylene torch to heat and get the plate that the door scres screw into hot enough to make them expand enough to help loosen them. Then while they are hot, take a large phillips head that fits tight, preferably one with a square shaft and put a spanner or shifter on the shaft to give you some leverage.

Ensure that you dont heat the screw otherwise you will simply tear the head out of the inside of the screw

I agree - if the impact driver is not getting them out - hit harder. I use a socket set extension bar in my impact driver to get a bit further away from the door. Use a club hammer.

I have a set up i bought off snap on that goes in a air chisel has a handle for leverage and has about ten high tensile bits.

works great.
