Put the wheels on today  Bought this yesterday - pick it up Monday night  Worked out how to get the boot lock in - got a mate in sit in the boot with a torch - and 'hey presto'!  Cheers, Wasim |

Thanks Dave, the ute purchase wasn't really planned, you may have seen it on eBay? It's just such a good car I couldn't resist!
I have everything I need to finish the sedan off except "time" - so it's slow going but I'll get there, I have some time off at christmas so I should get a good run at it.
Had it running today and had a drive up and down the driveway!?

Progress has been slow - but there is progress; Rear Seat Belts in - Rear Window Venetian Blind in - Rear seat in - Rear parcel shelf and speakers in - All door locks, knobs etc in - Bailey Channel cut and test fitting done - Drivers side front and rear quarter glass in - Next week - try and fit glass in drivers side doors? Still having trouble finding 1st and reverse with the floor shifter - just more mucking around needed. Not far from finished now!    Regards, Wasim |

That's just a cut down seat that is not bolted in - I just use it when I want to drive the car in and out of the shed. You can see the black and white bench seat in the back of the grey ute in some of the pictures that I will be using.

HELP PLEASE?
I've put the glass in all the doors - fronts are perfect - but the back windows don't wind all the way up?
They're about an inch short of going all the way up and when I put my hand up inside the doors there is still a good inch of glass before the rubber seal even engages???
Any clues?

The rear channel isnt in backwards some how? the one that retains the rear 1/4 window or its not fully pushed backwards did the rivet holes line up?
Or have you some how got EK rear glass?

Thanks Pete, the bailey channels are all clear - without the winder in, I can push the glass all the way up and the rubber seal sits flush in the door?
I know the FB / EK glass is shorter - I don't think I have FB / EK glass, the glass is the same ones that came out of the car and went off to be polished - don't know if the polisher had a FB / EK job going through the same time as mine?
