Put bootlid on and because it has been shaved I need to open it somehow so I rigged up a release cable-note the very common headsaver bootlid stay which ends up here next to drivers seat-can only just see it! oh yeah and stuck a bit of dynamat around I sprayed old sump oil inside the sills, the upper dash/firewall corners at the base of the a pillars and in the cavity between the rear wheelwells and the 3/4 panels-a good no smell alternative to fishoil!Just gotta let the excess oil drain out.

I think simplicity is the key with an FE, they seem to look better with less chrome (or at least no more added) and the one colour (or a subtle contrast) and I think the shape is so good with it's slightly more reserved pommy looking front, it is old school cool as long as you don't overdo it. That's just my opinion. . See how the frenched lights make the bumper contrast more, you would even get a very clean looking car with the bumpers painted, cos then it looks a bit more intended (In relation to the lights), but hard for me to comment cos they always look different in real life.

Agree with you fink - it looks much better without the bulky surround. Overall, a really cool looking mild custom, I love it. Cheers, Graeme

Very well done, the car looks great, she reminds me of an A40 Austin from the front. Keep the good work happening.
