Hello all,

Over the past few weeks I have been speaking with Graham Fuller from the NSW club about him reproducing adhesive grille badge inserts. Graham is happy to do this, providing a quota of at least 10 orders are met.

The insert is an adhesive sticker that resembles the look of the original item - you just stick it over the top of your faded original insert. Easy!

The insert looks like this:

(Photos extracted from a previous post of RET's)

The cost for one of these overlays is $40 plus $5 postage.

I have one of Graham's boot badge overlays, which I am very happy with - I've had it on the car for seven years and it still looks as good as new.

Let it be known that I am in no way profiting from the sale of these inserts - I have a badge that needs an insert so I have been pestering Graham to reproduce them so people that have badges with faded inserts can buy one. Wink

Either PM Graham or post your interest here.

Kind regards,

Josh

P.S. I'll take one please Graham  Smiley

Graham

Wondering if you have received enough orders to commence the production process on the Overlay.

Wow, this post has generated heaps of interest!

Iīm in Peru at the moment doing a bit of mountain climbing and didnīt expect there to be so much demand for the inserts.

How are they going, Graham?

Cheers,

Josh

If you can be kind enough to put one through for me too please.
The other day I was lucky enough to pick up a complete badge and all for 100 bucks, and it's in very good condition!! 8/10 I say...
I happened to drive my FC to Rares in Roxbourgh Park when this bloke commented on my car and wanted to know whether I wanted to buy an old badge he had for years in storage. I said for him to send me pics to my email and when I saw it I immediately contacted him and so the rest is history...
He also chucked in some sort of orange interior visor  and all the brackets and screws with it!! Anybody know what this orange visor would have been used for Huh

Hey Champ, I vaguely remember my Grandpa having an orange inside visor fitted on the drivers side of his FB; cant remember if it was instead of or in addition to the stock fold-down inside sun visor  Huh

( it sure wasn't to allow [an albeit tinted] view of the traffic lights when pulled up at intersections on sunny days - the nearest traffic lights were 180 mile away and he refused to drive in 'the city'!)

Any other 'oldtimers' got more info?

cheers, jack
