The Car was a 1957 FC Holden, it was rebuilt about 14 years ago now. Was a very long process might I add. There are photos from start to finish of the car so I'll upload a few more. When I rebuilt it we bought the 'OLD FC' number plates, which we thought was a nice touch. How it was when I got it A front on shot The Interior The seat i recovered in all black, I can't think of much else to add at this point..

Jeff
Nice car.
What running gear does it have?
Noticed the lack of a clutch pedal so Auto is obviously installed.
Pearled Steering wheel also looks great.
Well done

Hey Jeff (?) FC's were not released till May 6 1958, so your FC can't be 1957. Use the decoder on this site to find out more about your cars details. Decoder can be found at this link: http://www.fefcholden.org.au/techinfo/idinfo.htmlRegards Alex ps. always nice to see someone create such a nice car in the shed at home.

Gents, Pearl Craft produce the most magnificent restored and pearlised wheels that you can imagine. A young lady that frequents this forum (NosFEratu ) has the honour of having not one but two of her (and her better half) steering wheels showcased on the Pearl Craft ( http://www.pearlcraft.com.au/) web site. regards Weddo

Oh Cripes, let's hope she doesn't see this thread BTW, they actually can't "restore" the wheels to original black but supposedly can tone down the pearl effect.

And exactly what is wrong with Weddo calling me a "young lady"? just cos neither word describes me accurately........ Actually....... Wayne at Pearlcraft can (and will) do steering wheels to straight black if you really want them but if you're doing a two tone pearl wheel he prefers to do a black tint over a black pearl. And yep, they're one of my most favourite things on both the cars
