Hi all,
I have a 1957 FE Ute for sale, moving interstate and it will be a bit impractical to keep.
I will get some pics uploaded following the weekend.
It is reasonably standard, with a little rust coming through in a couple of the usual places (Tailgate has seen better days).
Engine, gearbox & diff has been reconditioned approximately 5 years ago, and minimal miles done since.
Runs, stops (on 4x drums), and even goes around corners!
I am chasing around $8k, but would like some input from forum members once photos are up.
Also comes with spare sills(outer), finned alloy rocker cover, a twin carb manifold.
Keep an eye out for photos after the weekend!
Mal- Black Rock- Vic.

A car is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay, without physicaly looking at a car it is very hard to make a call on what a particular car is worth (ball park figure). The topic of what is my car worth has been covered many time on the forum and the answer is always "What ever the buyer is willing to pay".

Cheers Jim

that's pretty much it, based on the pics i wouldn't say $8,000 without trying to offend i'de say closer to $6,000 but this also depends it may be alot better than it looks in the pics not that it looks bad and if you need to sell it quickly or don't mind sitting on it and most of all who's looking to buy and how much they have to spend

Thanks for the comments all..... no offence taken ratbox.. Smiley
I have just dropped the price on tradingpost to $6k- but wont be toooo negotiable past there though.
I will be out of town until wednesday night- but if anyone wants to view
between now and then - it will be in the driveway, just give me a call for the address.
I have just realised that i omitted a pic-the worst sill rust one- drivers side.
Have just emailed it to fchoon asking him to post it for me- (Thanks Pete)
Cheers-

And if it stays in Vic, maybe it could do with some black and white FE-1957 plates?  Wink
