I went to my local automotive paint supplier last week and he gave me this code
CP12959. He said to bring this # back and he would be able to mix up the paint from that.
Hope this helps

Keith, India Ivory is a US colour. You should be able to get a code from PPG.

Thanks John.  A few months ago I inquired at PPG to get the code as my preference is to use PPG paint.  I tried to day giving them again the paint code from the label.  Lo and behold this time it came up a winner.
I have another code from a different supplier of Supercryl paint.  It is considerably cheaper, around $100 for4 ltrs cheaper, but as I didn't know the type of paint I was not real keen on using it.  Anyway the problem is now solved.  Thanks all for the help.

The reference code for India Ivory in PPG is 07770.

7770 is the original BALM paint number, that appears on the Body plate. You've been sent 'round the world for sixpence Undecided

Well that is interesting.  The previous day I asked if they had records for India Ivory.  The answer was no because nothing came up for that colour name.  I took the code in and he said by adding a zero in front of the code 7770 it should show the colour.  It did and was India Ivory.  They have the formula for mixing that colour.  He said that it was one of the old Delux colours. Cool  I trust he is correct.  Will find out when I get it mixed.  I'll also take the glove box lid in with me also.
