The list is complete and lot's of goodies are up for auction once again this year Cheesy

The club will now accept absentee bids if you cannot be at the auction.

It works like this
1) tell me confidentially your bid for the item you want to bid on
2) I will bid on your behalf at the auction endeavoring to get the part at the lowest price
3) if you are successful I will contact you for payment

We have worked well with this honesty system for years now with no problems

So - do your bit to stop ebay and participate in our auction night Grin

Earlier is for looking round the swap sites, looking at the cars, eating your pie and having a chin wag Grin

What a FANTASTIC night's entertainment,   Grin  from the many swap stalls inside (all reasonably priced and loads of FE FC stuff) to the cars parked outside. The auctioneer was great (for a beginner)   Wink  and many a bargain was had from the enthusuastic bidding from the floor.

Many thanks to all those who worked tirelessly to set it up and make it happen.  A real credit to the FE FC Holden Club of Victoria .... may there be many more!!

Ken,
Is it possible to produce sold figures against the auction list for those who weren't there. It would give an indication to others of what realistic prices should be in the market or give an indication to those that might be contemplating selling to others on the forum but don't realy know what "it" is worth?

Weddo we do not advertise sold prices. All people who bid are informed of the final result for the lot they bid on.
We believe that ebay artificially raises prices (see other threads at the minute) - our auction is designed to allow enthusiasts to get stuff at a fair price and avoid ebay.
We appreciate all the forum members who put bids in - a lot of stuff went interstate again this year which is great.
I will say that the NOS sill went quite cheaply and I was surprised at the lack of interest it generated.

Yes, it was a great night out for my wife and I at our first auction/swap meet Cool
Bought a couple of things, and it was fun. Wish we got there earlier to check out some of the great cars on display though>Sad Roll Eyes

Kevin- Was I sitting next to you??. I met a fella there sitting beside me who took my mobile number, and said he could get me a car sun visor from his mate.
