Thanks for all the kind words guys.

This site is awesome some great info to be found. Just put in the details of the car to find out colour year of manufacture etc. Very interesting.

The car still has a just ledgible NSW rego sticker from 1976. Does anyone know or had any luck tracing previous registration history? I wouldn't mind finding out more of the cars history.

Cheers

Grimbo,

RTA will have virtually nothing.  My car went off NSW rego in 1979.  When I enquired of RTA the only info they had that they would release was the suburb where it was last registered (and I knew that anyway).  You would need to be able to read the old registration number as well I think, as that is mostly what RTA goes by.  But their old records are no longer available in my experience.

Oh, and I like the car too!

Cheers

Well I had a bit of time off with the arrival of the new bub. Didn't get nearly as much done on the FC as I'd like but still got a few things done. Got it running, still can't drive it as no brakes or clutch, but it runs Cheesy . Buffed the roof, boot and rear 1/4 flash on both sides. Also removed the carpet and seat covers so you can see how good the interior is.
A few pics

Don't know the future of the FC I might have to sell it to recoupe some funds so I can by a FE - EK wagon that I can modify.
I'd be looking for $11,000 neg so if you know any interested parties PM me.

Cheers

Forgot to add, I don't know FC prices (if it was an EK that'd be different) but is this a fair price?
