Been lurking on here for a while now so thought I better contribute a post.

So here it goes.

Been into old holdens now for about 15 years (I'm 30). I put this down to helping my pop out with his FC ute when I was younger. From about 18/19 I wanted a FC ute like pop's but never found one.

So I settled for an EK ute and was bitten by the holden bug hard. I've owned FB's EK's EH's HR's and even a HD but never an FC.

This morning my daughter and I went and had a look at an FC, and not long after we were off to the bank.

Here it is, this is how I bought it except we gave it a quick wash to get the dust off and put a couple of tubes in the front wheels.

Last regoed in NSW 1976, the bloke whom I bought it from hadn't driven since and has tried selling it on and off over the last 10 years. It has 27 something thousand miles on the clock. Had a couple of mates right into thier FC's check the car out this arvo and they seem to think that the miles are genuine due to the condition of the car.

As for selling it..... not anytime soon. Wink

My plans are to get the mechanicals sorted, brakes etc. Clean and detail the bejeezus out of it. Club rego and drive it. Grin

Great score Grimbo, the old girls in remakable nick for her age, makes you wonder how many more cars are still sitting out there in sheds.

Looks great. Gotta love an original unrestored car.
Even the dog is giving it a good look over.

Cheers

Some interesting bits on that car, with some hard to find bits in great shape.
Love the seatcovers.
The seats underneath may have been protected from the elements and be pristine, cool colour also.
Body looks tidy also.
Looking forward to seeing more.

I have this little bloke to thank for the FC. If it wasn't for him I would have been at work and missed out on it. He was running late but finally showed up yesterday afternoon at 4.50pm, 3.78kg, 50cm, he's our second and last child. His name is Eeli. So that is why I was busy yesterday, thanks for all the comments on the FC and hopefully I can get some work done on it over the next four weeks.
Cheers
Sam
