wa taxi pics

i was just looking at coolarides photo album and he has a page of pics of my fc taxi.
it is not an original taxi but is a copy of the one in the bottom left picture.
i built it abot 8 years ago and used it as my everyday car for about 3 years, then it was retired to the shed for a couple of years, then tidied up and put up at the whiteman park museum where it has been for just over 2 years. inside it has the original 2 way radio and meter from the original car

this cars got more nasco bits than mine!
i always wanted one of those trays that hang off the inside of the door .
who made them ?

not sure who made them but i have 2 and one was brand new in the box. think it was wilsonia or some company that starts with ca....? i also have new in the box from the same company 2 padded metal/vynal covers that clip into the top of your door when the window is down so that you can rest your arms on it.

sadly the taxi has to go as i have just purchased a hot rod project and as it has been in the museum for 2 years the missus reckons that i should sell it so if anyone wants to make me an offer over $5000 it could be yours

Hey Coolaride, I have 1 of those car trays also.....they are cool. I have included a pic of 1 for more info. I also have some NOS older ones that hook into the window and allow you to insert a can (bottle) as well as a small tray area.
