Very nice Pete. They are nice and compact. Will have to remember your bend fittings.

Will have a little post tomorrow. Starting to slow down. A bit busy at work and with Christmas coming.

A couple of photo's of the trial fit of the HR Front End. This took 3 years to get all the bits including the HR Front end in OCT 2008 for $50, VP Commodore Dis Brakes and a disc brake stub axel kit for the conversion. Fully rebuilt, very happy with the result.

Picked up another goodie today, lets call it a chrismas present.

A bit more expensive than I first thought, this along with the HR front end is a major milestone in my view.

Moving again. A new job has meant that I cannot finish without help. An old mate offered to help, so here is the latest.

Finally after almost a year it is off the Rotisserie Smiley I can now get back to the owner.

Rear commodore diff fitted

No issues with tyre Clearance. They are Commodore rims with 195/50 15" tyres.

Front end all back together. A small amount of jacking to get 2 of the four bolts back in, otherwise all good.

Without the guards on its still looking good for clearance, am able to get full lock.

Ride height maybe a bit high, no fuel tank or engine yet.

Anyway getting closer to the cigar. Perhaps in a couple of months (better not jinx myself). Engine next and fuel tank getting finished as we speak. The issue is still getting exhaust past the 80 litre commodore fuel tank when installed. Will work out when in place.

Good progress mate, at least you have yours on the ground and rolling, be a while before I get to that stage. The ute looks the part, be good to see the whole lot back together.

The blue is a bit jap car looking for my liking not classic. You are making me want to pull my finger out. Having 2 cars on the go sorta sucks cos I'm currently building the standard front end with all new parts for the taxi and rear end but doing the same for the Fe custom with shortened co LSD v8 diff and modifying the hrt front end. But the standard front was way more exy than the hr. It's good talking with blokes who understand how much work goes into each update.

Deano, I agree the blue is not staying. I cant believe how you find the time to do 2 cars at once!!!

My wife is already worried that I will spend more time in the house when this one is finished.

Anyway nice problem to have at least the car will be done.
