Thanks Tony, Ole and Pete, very exciting now. It is amazing how many times you think it must be over but a new issue pops up. I wait with baited breath and hopefully no more issues.

Well done Wayne, what an achievement. You support and encourage a lot of other people so it's great to see her proudly in the driveway inspiring the rest of us.

If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.

Minor update. Out of hospital again back in a few weeks. Know what's wrong now just a few more tests and then fix it. No alcohol, no sugar or no salt for 6 months is loosing its appeal. The car has been in a garage trying to get the underbody stuff done for rego whilst it is on a hoist.

Rear Sway Bar.

Leaf Spring Mounting. Bought a conventional sway bar for an FC and no issues with the commodore diff.

The next few are of the Celica Gear box mounting points. Used a Commodore mounting plate from Dellow between the 2 longitudinal rhs sections welded in place while the car was on its back. A piece of angle line welded to that frame was used when the gearbox location was known.

Hopefully they make sense.

The next are of the pesky rear handbrake cable.

The following is of the HQ rubber mounts turned upside down and mounted on the axel. Thanks to Haydn for that and the handbrake solution.

Anyway I am hoping that September is still achievable, need to get this thing on the road.

Mine did not have the original bracket on. What do they look like? It is a tight squeeze to get the cable under and over into the back of the disc.

NES will find out next week from the engineer how he feels about the cable being on the spring.

Wayne

Agree with Pete.

I used the original clamp mount and manufactured some new saddle clamps to hold the outer.

Hi Craig D I am using the same V6 Conversion speed sensor to mechanical drive as you but where did you get the 90 deg adaptor I am having a little trouble with the bend on my speedo cable into the box being tight that adapter looks like it makes it easier to connect is it jsut an adapter or is it converting the ratio as well?
