Hi Bill,

Funny you should post this tonight. We've just returned to Turner's Vineyard from the Official Gnoo Blas anniversary dinner. It was fifty years ago this month that the very first touring car race was held at Gnoo Blas, Orange. 51 drivers participated in that inaugural race, and 11 of those still vertical were at the dinner tonight, including Max Volkers, Denis Gregory, Des West, Andy Selmes, Gerry Trevor-Jones, Jack Van Schaik, Brian Foley and Ken Brigden. Bill Buckle was also there and spoke about the Buckle.

The special guest of honour and speaker was none other than Sir Jack Brabham.

What a great night.

Wish you all could have been here. Cheesy
