started this 9 months ago have done alot rust removal but starting to get somewhere and this is when i started

This is were what i started with replaced inner and outer sills new floor pans v6 conversion trans tunnel and rear transmission mount .mounted up a vn fuel tank.

fc427 the tank is hi on one side if i get spare time on week end i will take a photo with tank in place . I was toying with idea of getting rid of spare wheel door and putting a full bumper of a station wagon. cheers fc2360

I made a Aluminium tank for my Ute and to get some decent volume it comes up in to where the spare wheel used to live bit of a pain with the spare in the back ......FC427.......

this is a shot of the inside .havent disided on the column this is a vn one .I have to make some sort of cover . Plus what distance from the dash panel to the steering wheel suits best this would help heaps thanks fc2360

fc427 I have had work utes spares in back because of lpgas tank they are a pain but im using what ive got .Now to try and get this photo right

Its all good fun, the hardest part is the limit of the seat travel rearwards especially if you are using bucket seats, so make sure you have them fitted to make you calculations, and that the column will be off centre.
My van was the same and you do get used to the off centre driving position.
Have a look at 365 days, may give you some ideas.

Thanks Jason ive all ready read 2 of your rebuilds and they are great guide to what can be acheived this ute is going to be v6 t700 vn rear diff and bench seat trying to keep the intior looking stock .
