Craig.  Congratulations on getting it finished.  Good to see it back on the road again.  I hope to see it in the flesh soon.

If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.

Thanks Craig, I feel honoured and slightly surprised and overwhelmed by your comment, it's taken me a while to answer as i didn't know what to say, I'm nothing special just an average bloke doing what he has to do to get by each day, some days i get through pretty well distracting my mind by working on my wagon or doing stuff with friends and family and some days i just fall to pieces dwelling on the past too much, anyway congrats on getting your car finished and thanks you made me feel better about life at the moment Smiley Smiley

Craig, The same as pedro. You created your own piece of history and yes you might have used some ideas from others but that doesnt mean your car isnt unique. Feel proud mate as even though some of us didnt use others ideas, it certainly prompted us along the way.

I haven't commented because I lost this thread when I went into the wilderness with my new house build and my 2 car builds. But I must say, the last few days I have been using your car and Jamie's build and others, Mt Isa Boy and Pete's etc, as inspiration to really get going again, despite not having my new shed up. There is always something you can plan, research, sort or clean up because it all adds up, in the end, to getting closer to the finish Tongue. There is something about your car that is drawing me to it. It's one of the most photogenic FC's I have seen. You must be really enjoying it.  Cool

The first one is thanks to some professional photographer at the Toowoomba All Holden Day.
You will see Keith's (KFH) in the background.

Just working through a console option. Trying to accommodate most things. Need drink holders somewhere for the mobile and somewhere to charge things. Will post an update when it is finished

Wow - that looks great.

But please, take that key ring off the keys before it chips the paintwork on your dash!

Cheers

Thanks for the great comments guys.

JB

I would probably have a crack with Ply and MDF next time a little easier to shape.
I did like working with the metal though.

Cheers

Great work Craig. It's amazing how these old girls can be made to look so different. I really like some of the creamy off- white colours, especially the utes. The car looks awesome.

Cheers

Awesome console Craig, the best flattery is imitation & I'm sure this will be copied quite a few times. Also I think the best job is if it looks like it came original, that's got it in spades!
