Hi Glenn - without stating the bleedin' obvious, what's there not to like about a windowless FE van!  Roll Eyes Grin  Looks very nice and I'm sure you'll get plenty more enjoyment from it. Oh, yeah and the number plate position looks much better!  Wink Cheesy Cheers

And Kathi's not the slightest bit prejudiced either...   Wink Wink Wink

(even so, I know at least one FC sedan driver that wholeheartedly agrees with her on this one)

Never a doubt. Everywhere I take it they love it. The most comment is "these must be rare now"

Wheels are dragway. Tyres 225/50/16 rear 205/45/16 front.

The rims are not traditional dragway wheels though are they - I think from memory they are a Commodore pattern rim called dragway which imitates the old style dragway rim.
I'm not 100% sure about my memory because it's a while since I saw the van.

Is that right Glenn?

Yes, they are dragway billets, not the older style dragways.

Glenn,

I have had a rethink after seeing more photo's of your car, I wouldn't want to see it in the flesh, I would be dribbling all over it and I would hate to make a mess of that lovely paintwork. (Maybe if I wear a bib?)

That car looks superb, all jokes aside, i can't wait to see it.

Hi, it,s a hr frontend with a c.r.s. conversion kit. (front mounted rack with a crap turning circle) Hopper stopper adaptor kit for vt rotors and calipers. These were already fitted. (Jason may correct any mistakes I may have made) Hope this helps.

That is the same front end I have and I thought it would have a shit turning once I fitted it, what about that other front end by I think v6 conversions might make it better. Might email Hoppers for price on VT bits as already have rotors and calipers.

V6 conversions have a really good front end if you have a lazy $5k. I'm not sure what I'll end up doing with mine, you do get used to it.

Some more pics of the van. This is the last of the paint and bodywork getting done at the moment, end result will be a full respray.

 Poor thing looks ugly.

ok so dumb question here - and I know and appreciate full well that photos can be very misleading (and I wish we could get our van's paint and body re-done too Undecided)  but what was actually wrong with the paint?  Or was it just time for a freshen up?
