All good mate! I know its not everyones cup of tea, but the objective was to ressurect a car that was otherwise probably going to be left to rot, and built to a very low budget (between 2-3 weeks wages), and something fun. I dig what Deans doing with his FC, will look cool for not alot of coin, and he'll find he'll probably have as much fun in that car as anything he's owned!

The best part is that he will be able to park it anywhere without the risk of some turd walking past with a coin, screwdriver or keys and damaging the finish. Keith

or breaking into his shed and f#@&ing every panel.... there's a lot to be said for cars with a 'ratty' finish...

The Taxi theme is all go now, was pretty much decided a few months ago whne the car went in for repairs. Singage will be "Ratty Taxi Co. ph 666." or "Yellows cabs.". Big thanks for all the positive feedback on the build it is appreciated. Jim the Val looks awesome & thanks for the offer, Joe the guy that did the panel work has a young guy who is into graphic designing who is keen the be let loose at the FC. Who knows I might be able to make a few bucks on the side . Thinking 186,Trimatic & HR disc front end. Was going to go bigger brakes but I will save that for another project. Cheers, Dean.

It reminds me of my cousins fe,it had been painted so many times he just rubbed it back here and there,a bit deeper and a bit lighter as well then he sprayed a coat of clear over the lot,an early version of a rat. P.S. i'll ask him if i can get some photo's of it and i'll post them. Cheers Deano.

Hit on the perefect theme I reckon Dean. The sign writer bloke has talent. Suits the car perfectly. Love the woody panels on the wagon. I find nobody has trouble with the "V" word on this forum. Its only the "F" word which brings threats of banishment. Denis

Been a while now, this is where I am up to now (only the bonnet will be flat black). Hoping that there will be a bit more action in the near future . Dean.

Note to self........DON'T poke at rust holes with a screwdriver Front view Rear view Bit of a trim Different view That's about the extent of the progress, not much but every little bit helps . Dean.
