G/day all,can someone advise as to which alternator(model) to use on grey motor, also mounting bracket and what ever else I need to make it work.

ea falcon bosh or xf just use a spacer beetween original rear mount and longer bolt remove front mount from block and use a shorter spacer or some washers use belt 11a0915

Any alternator with a built in regulator is OK to use. Late Holden, early Commodore will be fine as well, basically any Bosch units are the best and most reliable. Nothing will bolt straight in but adaptation with spacers etc is pretty easy.

yes but with falcon bosch no welding or changes to original mount is needed as with 2 legs line up of belt running true is easy as it uses original bolt line alternator is suported each end  less work
