Hey Brad, Can you take a photo of the Colt hinges you used on the hard cover you made for me please. When I get the others made I promise to put them on the correct way. Cheers Jason.

Cool! Reversed rims making a comeback.
Had an old beddy van with a short diff and reversed rims on the rear.. looked fat.
Cheers

If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.

Sp apparently you start with a flat piece of 3mm sheet steel, and cut some patterns out... How it was done in the book. The first one i tried to cut with an oxy template machine.. (not sure what it is called) but the steel was too thin and warped the end result. So got a piece of 50 x 50 to help brace it while I welded the top and bottom on.

That is an awesome looking front end. I noticed that there is a decal with V6 Conversions on it, who supplied the front end? Keith

Hey Keith,
You noticed correctly... Its a V6conversions one. Not much change out of 5K but hopefully will be worth it. It uses all of the Vt commodore stuff that I have, so will save $1000 on a brake conversion, and will be able to put ABS on it. It is a rear mounted power rack and pinion, with coil overs that are fully adjustable.
Pat also stated that he has run 18x8's on the front, but I will be using 17x7's
Chers Jason.

341 Days... The shed dog... One for Kathi. Fuel tank today, 80 litre VN tank. The tank has been cut open and 13cm added for 40 more litres, and the VT fuel pump and surge tank incorporated into the tank while open.

Thanks, The main reason for the size of the steel was that I wanted to lower it by 40mm from the rails and this was the simplest way. And this was lying around the shed already bent up.
