Well done JB. I haven't been on the forum for some time so am pleased it is on the road. We all have things that need to be sorted after being able to drive on the road. These will get done one thing at a time. Enjoy mate Brett

Looks like you're setting up to mount something like an XU1 air dam?

After eventually fixing my spring issues we finally got to go on a run after Easter, with a trip to GMH head office, RACV and the old GMH factory in Dandenong for the FE's 60th anniversary.

Now that is low. Would tyres contact front guard lip on full lock with suspension bottomed?

Beautiful looking car.

Cheers

The guards have been rolled, and the ride height adjusted so that they will not touch on full lock going down a decent driveway... Misses by about a centimetre.

Hey there JB I'm about to do a similar floor conversion in an FJ Holden ute and I noticed yours already had good inner sills, mine needs the inners and outers replaced and I can't work out wether or not I should do that first before attempting the floor fitment, what are your thoughts cheers Frankie.

Hi Frankie,

I fixed the inners first which then gave me something to weld the floor to.

The outer sills were done with the door fitment.

Hope this helps a little

Cheers

It made an outside appearance today. Started well (CTEK charger works a treat!) and drove well after many months in the shed... just not me driving it.
My brother has sold his house , so am in a spot where to put it until after the next Nats in Canberra then I will bring it over to NZ.
Any suggestions or ideas most welcome.

Cheers

G'day JB,

Ballarat may be a bit out of your way, but I have a spare bay in my locked and secure garage now that the wagon has gone..... If needed, your car can stay there as long as you need it to.

Cheers, Graeme

Leave it at my place!
I'll come out with a trailer next weekend.

It's about time I cleaned out my garage

I'll keep it charged, clean, dry and meet you in Canberra

What suburb is it currently in?
