Found in the Sun newspaper, July 24, 1959. Feature for feature Holden is Australia's greatest value. I love that it shows Mum driving, all dressed in their Sunday best, and how about the boy with the boat in the back.

Yep, same as my dear departed Mums birthday also, albeit a few decades earlier.

Dad (god rest his soul) used to refer to her as 24 / 7

No, Dad had been sent home about 80 miles down the Old Hume Highway and told to wait for a phone call. 
And it was snowing.  Those were the days.

Yep, I always reckon I have a birthday 24/7.
