does anyone know the shade of grey the grey motor's original colour is???

Go to any good paint shop.  They should be able to mix you GMH engine grey enamel.  I found a few paint shops here that had the colour on the list.

An auto parts supplier told me that Power Plus do the Holden engine grey in a spraycan. 
part no. is PP 427, although I haven't sourced/tried it yet.
