Paul,

Great Photos! The house with the thatched roof certainly gives the clue that it isn't in Australia (if you ignore the sign post!)

Hi Paul

The shots look great - was this the inaugural outing of "The International FE FC Fleet of Ireland" ?

Thanks for those pics of the International FE FC Fleet of Ireland, Paul; bloody fantastic!
The one of the cars in front of the cottage is hauntingly familiar for some reason...

cheers jack

Love the photo in front of the castle. Would look great in black and white.

Can never get sick of looking at old photos, even though yours aren't old, the black and white ones look old.

Thanks

Paul,

Like Janette said, absolutely love the photo in front of the castle, looks great. Certainly nowhere in oz has a castle that looks as aged as that one.

Just a few things about the photos.

The cottage has a plaque stating year of construction 1399.

The "castle" is part of the old town wall fortification of Youghal in County Cork. It would date older than the cottage and older than 1275. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Youghal if you are interested.

Makes a 50 year old car a bit of a pup!
 Cool

In fact, you can see in the bottom of this photo where I was when I took the shots:

   1399!!  Shocked  bloody hell!
Paul, that cottage in the pic I sent you is considered VERY old around here (early 1850's)
By comparison, it's ultra-modern, to be sure, to be sure....  Smiley Smiley Smiley
