For all those people who have contemplated this conversation but could not get them to park i have now achieved it using a switch that virtually goes in place of the original switch and allows the original knob to be screwed on giving the appearance of an original dash. If anone is interested in this set up let me know.

Hey Brett.
More details please.
Are you able to share which model the motor is from etc.
How does an articulated setup work in a FE FC and what needs to be done.
Very interested.

Alex

Customfc,
i have used the VS model wiper motor. I have mounted this to the ek/fb wiper mounting plate and slightly modified the original commodore pivot bracket to accept the fb/ek small extension.

Hey Brett,

I used VN wiper motor (preslite) as well, did you re drill the EK base plate to get the VS motor to sit horizontally?

It's a neat mod and commodore motors can be had for peanuts at swaps and wreckers.

Cheers

Ed,
yes i did redrill the ek plate to get the horizontal position. I also adjusted the ek plate to give a more horizontal image.

FE350,
if you go to members real cars section and look for injectedv8fc and go to pages 3 and 4, this will show you the switch and wiring and tell you where to source the switch. If you have any problems let me know. DO NOT USE THE TWO SPEED SWITCH YOU CAN GET FROM HOTROD PLACES. They are not worth the money compared to this switch.
