Met this guy at the Beenleigh swap meet, seemed like he is genuine helpfull sort of person that knows what he is talking about, he has most FE/FC stuff and is developing more. Larry Dunn from Betta Auto Rubber,1800674483, 0407001007, (07)55227743, bettaautorubber@aapt.net.au Pedro

Interesting pricing on the door cards, I think I'll give up my day job and fire up the jigsaw Looks like they are made of hardboard, being a carpet layer I've pulled up enough old hardboard to know it doesn't handle getting wet, wouldn't ply be a better choice Stinky Pedro

I use 3mm MDF myself, are the floods that bad in Qld I haven't tried it for door trims yet, but I have some compressed polystyrene light and water proof, cuts with a knife, fairly plyable and will hold a bend if heated with a heat gun.

I always thought they were all the same for the ''doors'' and ''windscreens'' ... Rares , Bill Thompson , Spectrum , Betta Rubber etc etc does anyone know different When I was talking to Larry from betta auto rubber he was talking about some rubbers that other manufacturers don't have and new ones he is developing so I presume he makes all his own, I'll ask him at the gold coast swap meet. Rare Spares are the only company making FE FC door seals, windscreen seals, quarter vent seals as well as many other rubbers

Maybe this guy is - he is selling whole rubber kits for cars. It doesn't seem like he is just selling on Rares spares. Unless he gets from the same supplier?

As I said Rare Spares are the only ones making these products, what you will find is people claiming to make these products and others when all the do is buy in from a Rare Spares Distributor

We do not sell wiper shaft seals for FE FC so Spectrum’s are defiantly better, as for the door handle gaskets are they better because they have a raised edge unlike ours which are closer to original, I guess it is a matter of opinion or what you are trying to achieve. Les
