Hi All

I am making a fan shroud for my FC. Does anyone know how much clearance is needed between the tip of the fan blade and the shroud.
I am leaving 1 inch or 25mm. Is that enough?

Regards

I would have thought that  1'' would just about do it for clearance  but after watching my engine when the car was on the dyno it moved more than than 1'' so Huh Huh Huh.......FC427.......

I took a look at how much my engine moves and it is really hard to tell. I am going to give it 1 1/2 inches at each side and hope that will do.
I figure that if there is too much space it will defeat the purpose of having a fan shroud.
