(I know I'm breaking my own rule about posts here being FE/FC related, but...) Can you believe my son got himself a Ford? Not only that, but his FC owning grandparents bought it for him! And he loves it! What am I going to do with him? cheers RET

Hey Richard Put it in the cupboard and leave it there as it will be worth a fortune in years to come , go shopping and buy him his first HRT racing car coz they're red and go faster . And at least it's a HOLDEN Michael

I had exactly the same car (or ute, more precisely) as a littlie, and it had been my father's when he was a boy. It was even blue like Ryan's. Now Dad and I each have a blue FE or FC, so perhaps there's a method.... It's got a turning circle about a foot smaller than my FE. Our house seems to be a maze of 9-point turns cheers RET

He looks pretty happy, But he will find out why Dad likes HOLDENS , when his Ford breaks down, Hopefully you will have a HOLDEN replacement vehicle ready for him?

In defence of the grandparents, they don't make Holden pedal cars so we had to settle for second best. Is someone going to do something about it? Ryan didn't complain!

Ret Dont panic, as your son gets older and wiser he will sit in a holden sooner or later and realise why we all love Holdens so. And why fords make good boat anchors. Regards Mark

There's always one, isn't there? You gotta start that up again... He's not old enough yet to discriminate between Holdens and other makes, much less between models. So far we have all automobiles broadly classified as "Brrm" = car, "F*ck" = truck and Bus = well, bus. But he's obsessed with them, to the point that he makes his old man look disinterested by comparison This photo is my desktop background. Says everything you need to know about the joys of FE ownership cheers RET

Thats it Ret The general got it right with the FE, tried to improve perfection with the FC. unsucsefully so went straight to the EK and is still trying. But now the Monaro & the one tonner are back so may-be a return of the mighty FE in coming soon. If not its upto us, GO THE FE.
Regards Mark
P.S FC's are only FE's with differant lights & a few other bits.

Mark You forgot about the FB, like the FE a prototype which still needed work to become the EK, RET Max (2.5yrs) has much the same vocabulary, except he used to say truck but has slipped to f@@k. I blame his mother as she has pushed him in this direction by buying every car / truck orientated item he has. Long live the FC, and to top it off is grey still a colour? John M

This thread seems to have gotten a new lease of life all of a sudden. Anyway, I've recently finished painting and doing up Ryan's room, as he was ready to move out of the cot and into a proper bed. You know how I said he was obsessed with cars? Never let it be said his father doesn't indulge his obsession Cars and trucks around the perimeter near the floor, and clouds, hot-air balloons and helicopters around the ceiling. And then, of course, there's the bed. The little man is very keen cheers RET
