Hi everyone.

Does anyone know if the original style black with silver fleck windlace is available?

I've been searching US sites but most don't have pictures and I don't know enough about mid 50s US cars to know if any used the same stuff. Judging by the fact that early 50s Buicks use brown windlace fairly similar to that in my FE, I suspect the FC material was used in the US. Any ideas?

Cheers
John

I purchased black flecked windlace from Rare Spares approximately twelve months ago in Melbourne. It wasn't listed on their website but they had it in stock at about $12/lm

I sent SMS a detailed email to see if they have a suitable product.

If a local distributor can't help.

It's a little far away but maybe the one at the bottom of this page will be a close match.

SMS are a great company to deal with, My son has a 1977 CL Charger & I sent SMS a few photo's & they posted of a couple of fabric & a vinyl sample & it turned out they had what we wanted.
from receiving the samples to ordering enough fabric & vinyl we received the whole order in less than 12 days.
Good service & easy to deal with.
Check them out they must have acre's of trim material.
Regards Rob
