Original shock absorber was a single action shocker with a distinctive pattern on the ouitside - unless you are going for a concourse look, you should be able to purchase an oil filled double acting shocker which will suit your car adequately from Repco or other parts suppliers.

I cleaned up my old original shock absorbers and dropped to my local shock absorber supplier (Albury Shocks). They sent them to Melbourne and had them reconditioned back to new for the same price as new shocks. I told them not to paint them as they normally do a rough job, when I got them back I treated them and painted in POR15, they come up looking and performing as good as new, and original!!!!!. Very happy with the result.  Regards PM
