i guess no one can shed any light on my earlier question about the build date of my car?

I haven't seen much of Ken here lately - maybe he's too busy finishing his car for the Nats Shocked

Anyway, I'm sure he'll check in one day soon.  He's the only bloke who can really give you the answer.

Sorry - Ive been on holidays.

Peter, my records indicate your car is a Dec 58 van, everything lines up body no, chassis no & eng no.
I guess the receipt was simply dated wrong.

Gree - your car has the wrong chassis for the ID plate - maybe you already new that.
The Id plate would date the car as June 59, but the chassis no gives Sept 58.
Both these dates are fairly approx as the numbers dont align and there is no eng no to cross reference.

no i didn't know i had a differnet front on the car. i never paid much attention to the numbers until the other day.....

well, i guess it doesn't matter so much when its birthday was, as long as its dying day is a long way away i'll be happy  Roll Eyes
