Hi Nash
Welcome to the forum.
Looks like an interesting project.
Is it a Business or Standard sedan?
Jump on the decoder with your numbers and tell us a bit more about it.
Good luck with the project, look forward to seeing the progress.
Regards
Alex

ok the numbers are as follows:
fe215-2067m
trim: 355-177
paint: 255-7773
eng: L567911
I take it as a standard sedan built in melbourne, color is ascot grey, trim dont know no listing for it have triple checked the numbers and nothing comes up.
if anyone could help that would be great even if some one has a photo of the same car could i please have a look, even a photo of a standard sedan.Car has a dealership sticker from mooroopna, this is where i got the car from, dont know any history on it at all but who knows some one may know something.

Hey Nash,

Like others said, good to see another FE come out of hiding.

As far as your trim number is concerned, black, white or grey cars tend to have red interiors. If you have a look at this page, you can see that Taurus Red interior for an FE-215 has code 477. I reckon that's probably the original trim code. Maybe the plate stamping guy was having an off day Wink

What colour is the trim in the car? Is it original style, or has it been replaced at some point?

cheers

You will find the chassis number on the firewall skirt near the battery I think - It is a fairly early car.

If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.
