Hi All
Finally the day has arrived. I have been warned about my double OCD and there impact on the up bringing of a young impressionable boy. I figure by the time he can walk and talk I should have him firmly imprinted with Holdens cars, meat pies and Rugby League, by the time he is 18 he will be driving his classic Holden to training with the Mighty Sea Eagles.

Sorry but we have some new photo storage software and with the Sonja in hospital, I have no idea how to import the photo's to my photo bucket account. I will post photo's soon.

Cheers Jim

Congrats! Is it your first?

Over here the question is always - "Is it a boy or a baby?" I have 3 "babies" and with them I will get too many boys to worry about.....

Hi All
Many thanks for your kind words.

Kath
I actually think he has more hair than I do.

Jamie
When the day arrive for the little bundle of joy to make his/her appearance in to the world, I would suggest you choose your words wisely when encouraging your wife to push during labour.
Sonja became quite resistant to pushing at one point. I think my comment went something like this:
" What after all the effort you have been through to get to this point, now you want to give up"
not quite sure what her reply was but the next thing I said had something to do with a can of harden the F%$k up.
The doctors and nurses eyes nearly popped out of there heads. Lucky for me another contraction distracted Sonja, but as we all know women have memories like Elephants and it will come back and bite me on the arse one day soon.

Cheers Jim

Hi Michael
I would have packed my bags this time last year to return to civilisation, however was asked to stay here an extra year which has now tuned into 2. Sonja, William and I might be back in QLD Jan 2010, that is if I don't stay for another year.

Les
You might not be able to win them all but at least you can be in the winners circle....GO THE MIGHTY SEA EAGLES!!!! 2008 PREMIERS.

I have already ordered William's first Manly clothing and a 2008 team ball, Holden stuff for his room is the next on the agenda.

Cheers Jim
