I can't open the spare wheel door , I made some adjustments so that it looked better  and was tighter ( too tight key won't turn)
Fresh paint so don't want to force, plus wooden floor has been siliconed  down.
Can I drop the tank from the outside?
Any ideas?Huh

Nick get some one to push on the spare wheel door real hard and you try to turn the key, might just take the load of the lock.......FC427......

If all else fails you can drop the tank. Drain the tank and remove the fuel line, then remove all the retaining screws.  Carefully manouvre the neck of the tank out through the side of the car.

Ute and Vans petrol tanks are screwed from underneath and the tank comes out from below.
Just push your spare will door beside the lock and turn the key.
Cheers,
 Tony.
