Hi guys,
When I rebuilt my motor the only seal I did not replace was the distributor "o" ring seal. The seal has been causing a nuisance weep. I have found some imperial "o" rings that are the same size and two fit snuggly in the groove. So for all intensive purposes this should do the job. I have been told the original is not available any more. Is this correct or does any one know where to get a new one ?

Appreciate your comments or help.

A good bearing/seal place will have o'ring material by the metre, jsut get them to cut to length and loctite together - my dad has a bearing/seal business and restores vintage cars and this is what he does.

regards,
Nick.
