Hey All,

Would like to thank everyone for their help. Car has been registered for about 4 weeks now.

Have found a coolant leak at the rear of the block. Appears to be the plug. What is the best way to get to it.
Not a lot of room back there.

If I remove the transmission, does this allow me to get to the plug.

Also, where can I get a brass replacement and what size do I need, it has an FB motor in it.
I have looked in my manual and can't find any information. Rare Spares don't seem to list them.

Thanks,
Mike

Yes you have to remove trans to get it out - Bursons or Repco will have the plug for you - either measure it or take it in once you have removed it.

Hi Mike
A little advice can some times go a long way, As many people on this site will suggest, if one welsh plug is leaking another will soon follow. If your going to all the trouble of replacing the rear plug pull the engine and replace them all. For a full kit check out the following online store http://www.sixplusperformance.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=36&zenid=9fb9a7ece479608c2ac04cc26dfced10 $29 delivered.

Cheers Jim

Hi All,

Appreciate the information.

Yep, it looks like I gotta roll up my sleeves again and do some real work.

Rusty, thanks for the offer but already have some coming.

Regards
Mike
