hi. would like 2 known what is the best 2 speed heater to use in early holdens.thank gary.

There are many available options. My preference would be the round Bosch heater with variable switch. Good sound core and easy to fit. Demisters can also be fitted

heater hint:

For a cheap heater switch you can use a rheostat.

these are commonly used as dashboard dimmer switches, ie a rotary style switch.

Some of the switches in older japanese cars are very heavy duty with HUGE ceramic heat sinks.  You then stick an older style knob on the switch and presto, a variable fan speed switch for less than a couple of bucks...
