Hi all,
I want to build a car trailer which I would be using to move my van and other cars from time to time.
Just wondering if anyone would have a good set of plans that I could use or know where I may buy a set. If I build it, I want to get it right with regard to wheel position, drawbar length ect. I don't want anything that is an over kill weight wise.
Cheers Graham

If you know someone who has a good one - go and measure it up.

If not, go to a trailer shop and do the same - and if they ask, you are making sure all your cars will fit on it and that it will also fit in the gates and driveways you use and it will not be too high etc.

Failing that, tell em you can't afford to buy one and do they mind leaving you alone for 20 minutes.....

An Adelaide steel merchant used to sell kits with plans for trailers, might be worth a few phone calls to see if any local to yourself do the same?
Then there's good old Google - http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q=car+trailer+plans&meta=

Thanks guys.
I think I will find a good one and run a tape over it.
Have looked at a couple around here for sale but they all want too much money for rubbish.
 Cheers Graham
