Smiths Tacho

Hi All!
       I have recently purchased a Smiths Tacho, and was wondering if someone out there could tell me how the wiring  goes?  It has red, green, grey and black wires.

G'day Michael,

Usually...

Red - Power
Green - coil negative
black - earth

grey may be the light for it?  in any case, leave grey off to begin with.  earth it, then power it then try green to (-)ve coil.

Does that sound right guys?

sounds about right dave
from what ive seen while playing with the wires in mine the grey is more than likely for the gauge light.
