Hi all
Some nice shots there...very enjoyable
1 Eddy Av Central 1958 1960.....no later
2 George Street.....pre 1958 I believe
3 Oxford Street coming down hill from Paddington to darlinghurst past Victoria Barricks
4 Heartbreak Hill...tram on way to Watsons Bay
5 Tram on way to La Peruse...Past the Big House...These trams ran on this line to the last day of trams in Sydney in Feb 1961
6 Im not sure....'Eastern Suburbs...Belview Hill ? .....Can some one help me.....
Oh! The FEs and FCs are great also :-)

Question people the spinning ICA whirly gig thing out the front of the shell servo,what did it stand for?I remember seeing a lot of these as a kid.

I believe the ICA was an additive that Shell put in their petrol to help stop pinging and valve wear. Ignition Control Additive. Regards Alex |

Hey Alex,
That last photo is interesting. Where did you find it and can you blow it up? This picture has both a 2 tone blue and red and white FE in it. The same as the one I am building.

Hi Alex. I do not know the story behind the photo. Recently some long lost slides were found. I have scanned all of them but only one with an FC in it. I found the date stamped on the slide. It was taken at my in laws property just outside of Beenleigh not too long after I came on the scene. As far as we can work out it was a visit from some friends. Will be asking ma in law when we next see her.
