Will try and dig up some photos my grandads taxi service he started a taxi service in Wangi Wangi NSW and had a new FX and then updated one of his best customers was sir willam Dobell the painter who also lived and wangi and did not have a licence But apparently his cousin loaned one of the cars and wrote it off sending the business bankrupt.
see what i can find.

These are from The Herald Road Guide (undated - but cost 9 shillings). FEs and FCs were lurking at Hotels all over the place it would seem. Cheers David

Found these while looking through my parents photo's, taken at the Borderline Speedway in Mt Gambier. Mid 70's i think. I think there is an FE FC 5th from the left. Will

The Blue Lake Motel still looks the same today as in the advert. Love the tow truck on the infield at Borderline. Wonder whatever happened to it? Cheers Paul
