stainless is harder to get into shape, i just used brake line from B&R brakes, I used 5.5 metres, about $25 - $30 i think, i bought a pipe bending tool but found it easier and quicker to shape with my fingers. I could have bought a flaring tool but i just got the brake shop to flare the pipes, i think it was 2.50 or $5 to get each flare and nut fitted.

I have done a lot of cars with stainless brake lines The stainless steel that is used for brake lines is of the double annealed type hydraulic tube and there is no problems with work hardening at the flair that are associated with normal stainless steel instrument grade tube, it bends good and can be polished to a mirror finish 3/16 is about $9 meter 1/4 about $10 meter ......FC427......

You could try a company called "Race Brakes" I don't have their number, but I can tell you that they are on McIlwraith st in Wetherill Park. We have used them through work a few times. They may be able to help you. Paul
