am I the only one that noticed he referred to having two couples in the car ? That's not how I remember what used to go on at the drive-in!  Maybe I am conservative!

This being a family friendly site I'll keep my answer as sanitised as possible, what can I say Kathi, we were young it was dark and I was too busy concentrating on what i was doing to worry about what they were doing Roll Eyes, besides we all rode bikes together, surfed together and lived in the same flat on the Gold coast so it's not like we hadn't seen each other umm, unclothed before Wink

Pedro, I stumbled across it last night.
I was checking out the wa sports car club and there was a link in the for sale that took me to my105.
I just had a look again and couldnt find it either, I will dig a bit deeper later.
It wasn't in a car, just engine and transmission for sale, it said rb26/30 engine $16000 980 hp spent big dollars.

Definately would, only problem is it's worth more than my whole rebuild Wink, It looks like the same type of engine Pete(fchoon) is putting in his FC.

Almost this ones a hybrid rb25 top end rb30 bottom end (i have one with a a monster TO4 turbo on it i was going to use)

But iwent for the RB26 as it has 6 throttle body,s twin turbo,s and i think is a cleaner smoother looking engine bay as im going for the whole sleeper look i want it to look like its meant to be their instead of a monster top mount turbo...

at the end of the day you have to get that power to the ground thats why im going down the whole mini tubbing scene at the moment to try get bigger rubber under there.

Just ordering all the parts for my front end and I thought I'd pass this on, I found a mob who sells a HR front end kit containing 2 upper ball joints
                                2 lower ball joints
                                2 inner tie rod ends
                                2 outer tie rod ends
for $110 plus postage, e-bay item Ebay Item #280522548530 a lot cheaper than anybody else I looked at.

Adaptor plates painted and fitted, thanks to Pete(fchoon) for making them, the Lovells springs look flash and ended up being only $160 for 2" lowered, The ball joints tie rod ends and the radiator just arrived so i'll be assembling the front end this weekend Grin Grin

I had a drivers door and a set of guards sandblasted this week and was completely dissapointed, the door was stuffed so I had to take another one over, luckily that one was reasonable, the guards were crap but I'll just have to repair them as I don't have any better ones (wish I hadn't sold you those fiberglass ones now Fatboy), rang Gavin at retro rods and restorations and he knocked me up a guard rear and eybrow for $50 and gave me a heap of scrap plate for free, top bloke if you need any bits.

Yeah he sleeps a lot, it's definately "a dogs life" as the old saying goes, I'm quite happy he does though really i've always had cattle dogs before and you have to keep an eye on them all the time you never know what they'll get up to next, Merv's great though wherever I am he just comes and lays down near me and goes to sleep, different story if someone comes up the drive though, people who don't know him don't get out of their cars unless i'm there.

Finally got to have a play with the front end, couldn't fit the springs yet as I'm waiting on the bump stop rubbers but at least I can now get a measurement and cut down the diff.

Nice shiny new radiator Grin Grin

One of the pursuit/interceptor rims I got with the VL has a different offset to the others and fits the front end a lot better, I'll just have to find another one to go with it, I'm still going to have the same problem with it scraping on full lock as you though Jase, time to get out the hammer and dolly and fold the lip up I'd say Wink.
