fe 2104- 844A
trim 156-597
pnt  256-7481

rpo 333

there is no original front end on it, therefore no chassis number. It has been replaced with a fc front end and is being rebuilt at the moment

Thanks Steve, any ideas what happened to the original front - that is, is there any chance of finding the chassis number?  Love to find a Perth built FE van - really hard to find data on this type of vehicle.

Thanks again

Sorry mate, the van was rescued from a station in the murchison, where as a shooting vehicle it had ended up in a seasonal creek.

When it was removed the front decided to stay, and was so rusted it was left behind.

It has had several owners since then, but the current owner is moving quickly to get it going again, with a 308, turbo 400 and tubs.

I prsume that this would be a very early fe van in your records?

Not really early - there were less than 5000 made so it's in the bottom 20%, but it would need to be below 100 to be really early.
